The setting where this poker scene occurs in the James Bond film is set in the Montenegro Hotel in the Balkan country of the same name.

What was it for?

It was to show the main character (James Bond) attempting to get himself one step closer to finding out the mystery behind the main antagonist Le Chiffre.

Is it futuristic, historical, everyday fantastical, industrial, or domestic?

The setting for this part of the film is mostly every day because this scene could be seen as the same if you visit the Montenegro Hotel in real life (except the people).

What is the mood or atmosphere of the set?

The set's atmosphere makes the viewers assume that this hotel room is used for playing card games like poker for fun or for a competition or tournament.

Think of colour, shapes, and lighting, how does it add to the effect?

The effect of this scene is most likely from the lighting and colour because the lighting gives us the space to see what happens during the game of poker and the colour gives us the background of what the hotel room has in terms of the walls, windows and chairs that are inside of it.

Describe the setting?

The setting shown in this scene of the tardis in an episode of TV's 'Doctor Who' is set inside the Doctor's tardis, which means what the police telephone box has inside like the experiments and rooms.

What was it for?

It was to indicate what the Doctor's time machine has inside that operates both itself and the people/passengers who are time travelling to a certain destination.

Is it futuristic, historical, everyday fantastical, industrial, or domestic?

The setting for the tardis inside in 'Doctor Who' is mainly futuristic because of the colours and operations that the time machine creates and designs when needed for an adventure.

What is the mood or atmosphere of the set?

The atmosphere of the set from this scene gives the viewers the idea that they are experiencing what it is like to take a visit/ride inside the police telephone box/time machine.

Think of colour, shapes, and lighting, how does it add to the effect?

The colours from the inside of the tardis make it so that the time machine has some texture and background design so that it does not look like a plain old machine and the shapes of the holes on the ground and walls show how the machine works for when an adventure is happening.
